NOTICE OF 2017 GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
November 29, 2017
TO: Members of the Brandywine Estates Homeowners’ Association
The ANNUAL MEETING of the Brandywine Homeowners’ Association will be held on December 12th, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Old Regular Baptist Church on Brandywine Lane. All homeowners are encouraged to attend. Information concerning the Association will be presented by the Board of Directors to include the proposed 2018 annual budget. The annual election of officers for the Board of Directors will also be held.
Enclosed in this packet are a copy of the minutes from the 2016 General Membership Meeting, a proposed budget for 2018, and a ballot and Proxy Statement for those unable to attend the meeting but desire to vote.
While the ballot includes the names of homeowners who have volunteered to run for office, nominations may also be written-in on the enclosed ballot or made from the floor at the meeting. The importance of electing members to the Board of Directors cannot be over emphasized. The board is the body that makes decisions concerning the Association for the coming year. Positions to be filled include president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer and two directors for the Board.
Doors will be open at 6:00 p.m. to allow time for meeting and visiting with our neighbors prior to the meeting. Refreshments will be served at this time.
